You’re a busy person. Trust me, I’m right there with you. This year I wanted to make sure I added a few quick touches to my fireplace to at least indicate that fall had arrived.
I love glass and have collected a few glass pumpkins over the years. You have to love them, because even if they can be a bit expensive you don’t have to worry about them going bad.
This year I was keeping an eye out for a blue or white glass pumpkin at my favorite local glass shop. I’m still annoyed with myself for not picking up one I saw last year. So when I saw this stunning coastal blue pumpkin I knew it would be perfect for my coastal fall decor plan.
Fortunately white pumpkins (technically gourds) are popular and “in style” at the moment so picking up a few of those was quick and cheap.
To put the look together I removed a few items from my fireplace, gave it a quick clean with a Swiffer 360 Duster, and arranged the glass pumpkins on each side mantel. I put my real white mini pumpkins across the middle.
I still need to decide what I want to do about the large framed print above the my fireplace, but that’s a story for another day.
So for as much as you’d love to do a few creative DIY fall projects, but don’t have the time, a few quick autumn touches are completely possible welcome a coastal fall.
